About Our Team

• Our team accepts all athletes so long as they know how to swim or dive.

• There are NO tryouts for the team and NO ONE will ever be cut from the team, however, if you have questionable swimming experience you may be asked to complete a test set prior to being allowed to join the time.

• We do not have a JV team.  All members on the team will participate at the varsity level and be defined as "varsity" because it essentially doesn't matter what heat or lane that you race/compete in at our meets because your placing/ability to score points for the team will be determined by your final time in your races/events.

• Everyone is eligible to compete in all meets as long as you are academically eligible (passing all classes with C or better), in good standing with the school/community, and you attend the practices the day before meets (this rule applies to club swimmers as well). In order to compete in the meets that have qualifying times, you must have achieved the qualifying time prior to the meet.

• Being on our team makes you a Student-Athlete and therefore you must maintain good grades and be in good standing academically prior to and throughout the season in order to be eligible to compete.  You are and will always be a student first and foremost always and an athlete second. Our team's expectation is that everyone is passing their classes with a C or better in all of your classes throughout the season - anything less than a C will result in not being allowed to compete.
